Rogue Blight Updates Hub
Launch recap, demo history, and the soundtrack plus artbook DLC — what actually shipped.
Rogue Blight’s 1.0 date is 3 September 2026. Everything before that was a long public demo, playtests, and Steam news posts from solo developer CodeRadGames (Konrad). This hub is the timeline. The detailed day-one recap — price, platforms, what shipped, DLC, demo — lives on the launch notes page. Public demo patches from 1.10 through 1.18.2 are collected on demo patch notes. We will not invent 1.0 hotfixes that are not on Steam.
3 September 2026 — full launch
Steam unlocked the 1.0 build at 4:00 PM BST / 11:00 AM EDT / 8:00 AM PDT. Platforms: Windows, macOS, Linux. Single-player. Full controller support, Steam Cloud, 94 achievements, leaderboards. Introductory offer through 17 September 2026 (US store showed 10% off the $12.99 listing, $11.69). Early reviews sat at Very Positive, about 97% of roughly 67 user reviews.
What 1.0 contains, in Steam’s own pillars: souls-like combat, 50+ one-handed weapons, ten statuses that work on bosses, blessings, three randomly generated chapter maps, infinite New Game+, and Challenge Maps. Read the recap on launch notes, then jump to getting started if you already own it.
Demo history (December 2024 onward)
The Rogue Blight Demo (app 2336830) went live on 4 December 2024. It still sits on Steam after 1.0. The demo’s pitch was the first map, Waywood Forest, with 20+ weapons in that slice, the same ten statuses, and a grave-hub tease that leaderboards lived to the left of the grave. CodeRadGames streamed development on Twitch throughout.
Selected public posts worth remembering:
- 4 December 2024 — demo launch. Waywood Forest, permanent upgrades, gear, Infinite New Game+ challenge in the demo slice.
- 13 December 2024 — developer note that over 1,000 players had finished the demo (about 41% of the then player base), and half of those finishers ran it back.
- 5 February 2025 — Demo Patch 1.14. Map path generation no longer skewed heavily to the right.
- 27 December 2024 – 28 February 2025 — No Hit / Damage Challenge. Submit an unedited video on Discord. Reward: name an NPC and write a backstory for the full game’s unknown events.
- 6 March 2025 — winner announced. Player Helrayzr reached the demo’s final boss, Wendigo, on Difficulty 3. The NPC based on that run was promised for “?” encounters in 1.0.
- 20 April 2026 — Medieval Fest major demo update. New content, systems, and improvements tied to Steam’s Medieval Fest event.
- Demo v1.18 (Next Fest window, alongside an 11,000-wishlist thank-you). Bug fixes included a bonfire “Refill Potions” button that could disable when potions were already full, and sanctuary music doubling after a map.
The developer site listed the demo as Windows / Mac / Linux and Steam Deck compatible. That Deck line does not automatically transfer to 1.0; the full game’s store badge is Unknown. Specs: system requirements.

Digital artbook DLC
The Digital Artbook is a 160+ page PDF: concept art, characters, enemies, environments, bosses, and how the game evolved. Open it from the main menu Digital Artbook button, or from the DigitalArtbookDLC folder via right-click Rogue Blight → Manage → Browse local files. Listed around $2.99 and 100 MB.
A Supporter Edition bundle on Steam packaged the game, soundtrack, and artbook (US bundle showed $15.90 after stacked discounts at launch). The bundle is optional. The base game is the wiki’s subject.
How we will log future patches
New Steam news posts become child pages or rows on this hub, not silent edits inside guides. Balance changes that move a family will be noted on the weapons tier list with a date. Until a patch exists, this hub’s job is launch plus the public demo record. Official channels remain Steam news, Discord, and the rest of the links hub.
