Rogue Blight Tier List Hub
Family ranks and playstyle grades for launch week — not a fake 50-weapon spreadsheet.
Rogue Blight launched on Steam on 3 September 2026 as a 2D souls-like rogue-lite from CodeRadGames. This hub is launch-week ranking, not a datamined DPS bible. The game ships 50+ one-handed weapons, each with its own skill, plus dual-wield combinations, left-hand shields, and a large blessing pool. Inventing a 50-row table of made-up attack numbers would be worse than ranking honestly at the family level.
Treat every letter grade here as community guidance from the first days after launch (Steam sat at Very Positive, about 97% of roughly 67 reviews). Individual named drops will move when CodeRadGames patches apply rates, shop weights, or New Game+ scaling. Use the three child lists when you actually have to pick a hand, a chest, or a build.
How we rank this week
The criteria are practical, not theoretical:
- First-clear reliability through Waywood Forest, Fireworn City, and Blight Castle
- Dual-wield rules from in-game captain dialogue in public footage: two weapons of the same type enter dual-wield stance, attack together, and take a 40% cut to attack damage and status apply rate
- Shields are left-hand only
- All ten statuses can afflict bosses — see the status effects tool
- Run economy: gold in the shop, Funguy (fungus) for meta unlocks, blacksmith smelting of spare gear
- Challenge Maps are one attempt, so survival tools beat greedy damage
We do not publish fake weapon DPS. If a named sword or wand appears on a child page, it is labeled as footage-based or store-described.
The three lists
Open these in order when a run forces a choice:
- Weapons tier list — S / A / B for swords, daggers, wands, and shields, plus the named weapons we can actually document
- Blessings tier list — footage-based ranking of known modifiers. The official site talked about roughly 60 blessings and 25 minor blessings; this wiki does not pretend the list is complete
- Builds tier list — dual daggers, sword and shield, dual swords, wand caster, and status stacker
When you need skill names, pairing rules, and smelting advice instead of a letter, switch to the weapons and builds guide. Combat timing still lives on the combat guide.
What S, A, and B mean
S means take it on a first Blight Castle attempt or a one-life Challenge Map unless the node graph starves that family. A means strong when the run offers it, and worth rerouting a shop or chest. B means keep it as a bridge weapon, smelt it, or skip it unless a blessing makes the pairing weirdly good.
Same-type dual-wield is not automatically S. The 40% damage and apply-rate penalty is real. Dual daggers still look S this week because hit count recovers status buildup. Dual swords look A because poise and range matter more than raw apply rate on early bosses. Dual wands look A only if Intelligence, mana potions, and bonfire refills keep the clips coming.
Mixed hands — sword plus dagger, wand plus sword — do not use dual-wield stance. You keep full per-swing damage and apply rate, and you spend the fight swapping. That mixed plan is often the honest A-tier answer if you cannot yet dodge a Gorilla or Wendigo cleanly.
How to use the hub mid-run
- New save: skim builds first, then lock a family on weapons.
- Chest or shop blessing: open blessings before you accept a risky aura that buffs enemies too.
- Unsure which DoT to stack: status effects.
- About to enter a boss node: bosses.
Gold buys shop weapons, gear, and blessings during the map. Funguy buys permanent unlocks between runs. Do not blow a run’s gold chasing a mythical “best sword in the game.” Chase a family that matches your stamina, mana, and dodge skill.
This hub stays a map of the three lists. Letter grades live on the child pages so the first balance patch can move a family without rewriting the whole wiki. If a streamer table contradicts this page, prefer in-game tooltips and the launch notes over anyone’s spreadsheet — including ours.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is this an official Rogue Blight ranking?
No. It is fan launch-week guidance. CodeRadGames has not published a ranked weapon table. Confirm patches on Steam and the official links hub.
Why rank families instead of all 50+ weapons?
Each weapon has a unique skill, and public footage only names a handful. A fake numbered table would invent stats. Rank swords, daggers, wands, and shields on the weapons list, then pair them in builds.
Does dual-wield always beat a shield?
Where should I go after this hub?
Pick a family on the weapons tier list, check blessings, then lock an archetype on builds. New players should still start with getting started.
Will these grades survive New Game+?
Infinite New Game+ raises enemy damage, speed, health, size, and status apply rate. Survival pairs and Second Life-style blessings climb; glass dual-wands fall unless your map routing is clean.
